Fowler senior Jocelynn Budwig won the girls discus throw (161-9), her 15th straight victory in the event, and finished second in the shot put (46-10.25) at the Central Section Masters meet at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif.  Budwig had won 26 straight shot put competitions since placing second at the Stanford Invitational last season. It was also the first time she lost to Bakersfield Liberty sophomore Faith Bender in 10 head-to-head shot put competitions the past two years.
